On Sunday, 11 January 2026, the vibrant neighbourhood of Powai, Mumbai came alive with energy, laughter, and a shared sense of purpose as runners and walkers filled the streets for the Brookfield Properties Powai Run 2026 — the flagship annual run organised by the Rotary Club of Mumbai Lakers in partnership with Brookfield Properties.

This year’s event witnessed an inspiring turnout of over 8,000 participants, ranging from enthusiastic beginners to seasoned runners. From casual walkers and fitness enthusiasts to families and students, people of all ages laced up their shoes to be part of this cherished community gathering. With both 4 km and 10 km race categories, the Powai Run upheld its tradition of promoting health, fitness, and inclusivity — encouraging everyone to participate at their own pace.

Adding a vibrant corporate presence to the event, TXL proudly participated with 110 employees, who not only completed the run but also strengthened the spirit of teamwork and social contribution throughout the morning. Their participation reflected the belief that employee well-being and community engagement go hand in hand.

All proceeds from the event were directed toward meaningful charitable causes, including support for heart surgeries, cancer care, girl-child education, and broader community health and wellness programmes — reinforcing the event’s enduring commitment to social impact and positive change.
